About This Project
I built Snaq for myself because calorie counting apps require too much manual input. Most people give up on tracking nutrition because it's tedious. But everyone already takes photos of their food.
Snaq lives in WhatsApp—send a meal photo and get instant analysis: calories, protein, carbs, fat. The bot onboards new users by collecting their profile (age, weight, height) and personalizes responses based on their data and meal history. You can also just chat about health and diet topics.
Built with FastAPI, OpenAI GPT-4o Vision, Airtable, and WhatsApp Cloud API.
