Moverba

Moverba was an Instagram account where people could learn English by watching short movie clips. Each post featured a 15-30 second scene with a useful phrase or expression, plus the full dialogue transcription and movie title.

The format worked because it gave learners three things at once: the phrase, how native speakers use it, and enough context to remember it. Movies stick in your memory better than textbook examples.

Over 7 months, I created 113 posts and built an audience of 13.9K followers. You can still check out the profile on Instagram—it proved that learning doesn’t have to feel like studying.
