Kicka

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This policy explains how kicka.org and its sections, including the Kicka Ads and Kicka AI services, collect and use your personal data. The site is operated by Matt Kicka (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question, email [email protected].

What we collect, and why

  • Enquiries and bookings. When you use a contact form or book a call, we collect your name, email, and the details you share (such as website, monthly ad spend, and message) to reply and to assess fit. Basis: taking steps before a contract and our legitimate interest in responding.
  • Resource sign-ups. When you request a free resource, we collect your email to deliver it and to send related emails you can opt out of at any time. Basis: consent.
  • Scheduling. Booking a call shares your name and email with our scheduling provider to arrange the meeting.
  • Usage and device data. With your consent, analytics and advertising cookies collect data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and IP address.
  • On-site assistant. If you use the chat assistant, the messages you send are processed to generate replies and may be handled by third-party AI providers.
  • Server logs. Our hosting keeps standard logs, including IP address, for security and reliability.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel through Google Tag Manager. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland these load only after you accept via the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2); elsewhere they default on and you can opt out. You can change your choice at any time through the banner.

Email

We use Loops to manage resource sign-ups and any emails we send. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that process it on our behalf:

  • Google for analytics (Google Analytics) and lead storage (Google Sheets).
  • Meta for advertising measurement (Meta pixel).
  • Loops for our email list and delivery.
  • Calendly for call scheduling.
  • Web3Forms for contact-form delivery.
  • AI providers for processing on-site assistant messages.
  • Our hosting provider for running the site.

International transfers

Some providers are based outside the EEA, for example in the United States. Where your data is transferred, it relies on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as necessary: marketing contacts until you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted; enquiry and booking details for up to 24 months after our last contact; analytics data per the providers’ standard retention. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
